Dreampixies is a Swiss film production company, which develops movies from original idea, planning, financing to production and release. Our main focus is documentaries and fiction films for cinema and television. We seek to develop projects addressing cultural and social issues, such as Return to Gorée featuring Youssou N’Dour (2007), Viramundo featuring Gilberto Gil (2013), Jean Ziegler, the optimism of willpower (2016), Citizen Nobel (2020), Colombine (2022), After the Flood (2023).

About Emmanuel Gétaz

Born in 1965, Lausanne (Switzerland), co-founder in 1983 of the Cully Jazz Festival, the second largest jazz festival in Switzerland. Montreux Jazz Festival’s production & financial director (1990-1998). Head of the Special Events Department at Swiss National Exhibition (1999-2003). In 2003, he founded Dreampixies, a film production company. Co-writer and producer of many documentaries, such as: “Return to Gorée” (Pierre-Yves Borgeaud, 2007), feat. Youssou N’Dour, awarded among other prizes « Best Documentary » at the 16th Pan African Film Festival, Los Angeles and distributed worldwide. “Viramundo – a musical journey with Gilberto Gil” (Pierre-Yves Borgeaud, 2013) feat. Brazilian singer and former minister of Culture, Gilberto Gil. “Jean Ziegler, the optimism of willpower” (2016) directed by documentary multi-award winner Nicolas Wadimoff (Official section at 2016 Locarno Film Festival). “Citizen Nobel”, (Stéphane Goël, 2020) feat. Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2017 Jacques Dubochet. “After the Flood” (Fabiano D’Amato, 2023). He also produces fiction films, such as “Colombine” (Dominique Othenin Girard, 2022).
